Support Our Community This Ramadan:
Help Stock the IRIS Food Pantry
Ramadan is a month that reminds many of us to slow down, reflect, and care for others. At IRIS, we’re grateful to be able to support immigrant and refugee neighbors in Connecticut—and we also know how much need there is right now.
Each week, the IRIS Food Pantry serves up to 600 community members with essentials like halal meat, fresh produce, bread, rice, pasta, and other kitchen staples. We’re also one of the only local food pantries offering halal options, which can make a real difference for Muslim families during Ramadan.
How your gift helps
Your donation helps us keep the pantry stocked so families can break their fast with a wholesome meal and have the basics they need for the days ahead. It’s simple support, but it matters—especially when budgets are tight and families are trying to make a new start. Behind the scenes, volunteers show up week after week—through every season—to pack and distribute food with care. We’re thankful for each person who makes this possible.
If you’re able, please give today to help stock the pantry this Ramadan.
Your support helps IRIS continue showing up for families who need it most.
This year, Saffron Road is matching donations up to $5,000, increasing the impact of each gift for immigrant and refugee families.
