InterAct walks with clients into a safe, sustainable future where the survivor is in control. Your gifts support the everyday battle against domestic and sexual violence and the shadow they cast, affecting physical and mental health, shelter and housing, income and employment.

Interact was more than a shelter for me and my children. It was a place where healing began. When we arrived, safety felt almost nonexistent in my life, and yet within those walls, I found it again. I cried there, I grew there, and I slowly began to believe in myself again.

The support I received went far beyond basic needs. The classes I took gave me tools, clarity, and confidence, and the staff consistently showed up with compassion and care. In moments when I felt overwhelmed or close to giving up, someone was always there to listen and remind me that I was not alone.

Because of Interact, I was able to regain stability, strength, and hope for the future. What I lost before coming there does not compare to what I gained while I was there. This program did not just help us survive. It helped us heal, stand again, and move forward with courage. For that, I will always be thankful.
