CONFERENCE PURPOSE
The Center for Leadership Development’s College Prep Conference & College Fair (CPC) is more than just a one-day event—it is where leaders begin to rise.
Rooted in Greatness: Leaders Rising reflects the heart of this experience, empowering high school students to stand firm in their potential while boldly designing their future.
Through inspiring sessions and real conversations, CPC equips students with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to strengthen their character and create a powerful path toward college, career, and lifelong leadership.
As a parent/supportive adult, you play a powerful role in shaping your child’s future. Through eye-opening sessions, you’ll gain insight into the challenges students face and how you can help them overcome obstacles, stay on track, and achieve their full potential. Your support can make all the difference—CPC will show you how to be their strongest advocate every step of the way.

CPC Keynote Speaker
Ms. Aleanya Moore

Aleanya Moore is an accomplished nonprofit executive, educator, National TEDx speaker, and author dedicated to developing confident, purpose-driven leaders. She is the Founder and CEO of Ladies Under Construction, Inc., established in 2009 to mentor girls ages 5–17 through leadership development, academic enrichment, and social-emotional support.
Raised by her grandmother in low-income housing, Aleanya graduated high school with a 1.7 GPA but refused to let her beginnings define her future. She became a first-generation college graduate and is now a PhD Candidate in Organizational Leadership at Marian University.
Her journey powerfully reflects resilience, growth, and determination. A former school dean and respected community leader, Aleanya’s work has earned multiple honors for service and impact.
As keynote speaker, Aleanya embodies the spirit of Rooted in Greatness: Leaders Rising, inspiring students and families to recognize and rise into their full potential.
