Celebrate Your GBMC Doctors Today!
March 30 is National Doctors Day—an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the exceptional physicians who care for our patients and strengthen our community every day. GBMC doctors make a profound difference in countless lives through their skill, compassion, and dedication. You can honor a physician who has touched your life by making a gift in their name and sharing a message of gratitude they will personally receive. All donations support the areas of greatest need at GBMC, helping ensure our physicians have the resources they need to continue delivering extraordinary care.
Starting in the 2026 tax year, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) brings back an "above-the-line" charitable deduction for non-itemizers, allowing singles to deduct up to $1,000 and joint filers up to $2,000 for cash donations to public charities, in addition to the standard deduction, while itemizers face a new 0.5% Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) floor for their deductions, meaning contributions below that threshold aren't deductible.
When Your Doctor Feels Like Family
There are moments when a doctor is more than a caregiver — they’re a steady presence, a trusted guide, and someone who feels like family.
At GBMC, our physicians walk alongside patients through life’s most important chapters, offering expertise, compassion, and comfort when it matters most.
This Doctors Day, you can say thank you by making a gift in honor of a GBMC physician who made a difference in your life. Your generosity is a meaningful way to recognize exceptional care and celebrate the relationships that define healing.
