Why Monthly Giving Matters

• Vision loss and eye disease require ongoing care—not one-time support
• Monthly donations create predictable revenue and program stability
• Even modest monthly gifts significantly adds up and advances our mission

As a Circle of Care Vision Partner, your monthly gift helps to ensure that no one goes without the vision services they need.

Mobile School Clinics

Mobile School Clinics provide comprehensive school-based vision services to students. This collaboration expands access to essential eye care by bringing screenings, exams, and eyeglasses directly to school campuses—eliminating financial, transportation, and insurance barriers for children and families.

Tele-optometry

This program focuses on one goal – serving patients who need us most where they live. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, we are able to better coordinate services in areas of Georgia with no access to vision services.

Harrell Vision Clinic

In partnership with optometrists and ophthalmologists, we offer free eye exams and low-cost glasses to qualifying patients at the Harrell Vision Clinic located in our Chamblee facility and through our statewide traditional mobile and tele-optometry clinics.

Lab Fabrication of Eyeglasses

Our eyeglasses are produced in our optical lab at the Harrell Vision Clinic in Chamblee.

Recycling Center

The Ken Massengale Recycle Center at Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, Inc. operates one of the largest eyeglass recycling centers in the United States providing impact domestically and internationally.

Vision Surgeries

This program restores sight for uninsured adults in poverty facing advanced eye disease and blindness. By connecting patients with ophthalmologists and covering the cost of surgical procedures, it ensures that Georgians at risk of permanent blindness have access to the life-changing care they need.

Making an Impact

Together we continue to set the standard for service and equal access to vision care for Georgians in need. Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, Inc. is committed to filling the gaps that still exist for underinsured Georgians by providing access to low-cost vision services.
