Ukraine is Facing Its Darkest, Coldest Winter
Ukraine is currently under a State of Emergency because of the ongoing attacks on infrastructure. 70% of Kyiv lost electricity, cutting off heat and water during a lethal deep freeze. With temperatures dropping to –20°C (–4°F), families are being forced to survive for days and weeks without heat, light, or the ability to warm their homes.
With 151 substations and 45 major heat plants nationwide already damaged, a total blackout is a real and immediate threat to survival.

Our Mission During the Blackout
Save Ukraine operates 2 Hope and Healing Centers in Irpin, and Hatne (Kyiv Region) and 20 Day Centers across Ukraine. Every day they provide critical lifeline and community support services for 200+ children and families rescued from Russian-controlled areas or frontlines.
But the need has rapidly grown. As winter conditions intensify, we are urgently mobilizing to provide emergency shelter for over 1,000 vulnerable community members who are right now surviving the cold without electricity, heat, or even basic water access.
We're asking for your urgent support to help us keep the heat and light on in the following coldest months.
Trusted by Families. Recognized Worldwide.
Save Ukraine, a charitable organization, aids families and children affected by war. We have been on the ground since 2014. When the full-scale invasion began in 2022, we scaled immediately—and we haven't stopped.
Our results:
1025+ - Children we have already returned
$10 mln - Donated during the war
110,000+ - People evacuated from war zones

Winter Won't Wait. Neither Can We.
We're not planning a response. We're responding now. Every day without adequate resources increases the risk of hypothermia and illness among children and threatens to shut down centers exactly when they're needed most.
The coldest weeks of winter are ahead. Attacks on the power grid continue. We need $823,000 to keep our centers running through it. Your generosity ensures desperate children and families are not forgotten and enables them to survive the harsh winter.
