Bequests
You may include 31Heroes in your will or revocable living trust by leaving:
• A specific dollar amount
• A percentage of your estate
• Specific property or assets

Retirement Accounts and IRAs
Because retirement and IRA assets are often subject to higher income taxes when left to heirs, naming 31Heroes as a beneficiary of these accounts can be a tax-efficient way to give. You can designate 31Heroes as a beneficiary directly through your plan administrator.
Bank and Investment Accounts
You can name 31Heroes as a payable-on-death (POD) or transfer-on-death (TOD) beneficiary on eligible bank or investment accounts. These assets pass directly to us without going through probate.
Life Insurance
Life insurance policies can be a powerful planned gift. You may:
• Name 31Heroes as a beneficiary of an existing policy, or
• Donate a paid-up policy to 31Heroes
Real Estate
Gifts of real estate, including residential, commercial, or land, can be donated outright or through your estate plan.

Charitable Remainder Trusts
A charitable remainder trust is an irrevocable trust that provides income to one or more individuals for a set period of time, often for life. At the end of the trust term, the remaining assets are distributed to 31Heroes.
• Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust (CRAT): Pays a fixed annual amount.
•Charitable Remainder Unitrust (CRUT): Pays a fixed percentage of the trust’s value, recalculated annually.
Charitable Lead Trusts
A charitable lead trust provides annual payments to 31Heroes for a specified period. At the end of the term, the remaining assets revert to you or your designated beneficiaries. These trusts can offer income or gift tax benefits depending on the structure.
We also accept Matching Gifts
Does your employer offer a matching gift program? Many companies match charitable contributions, doubling or even tripling your impact to 31Heroes with no additional cost to you.
