Help Us Complete a Space Meant for Healing

This is an opportunity to give where restoration follows loss. Donations go directly toward completing a space designed for healing, renewal, and recovery in honor of our good friend, who truly believed in our mission, carried a compassionate heart for those rebuilding their lives, and showed that compassion through his care for our animals and his willingness to help wherever he was needed. Let's make the work he supported so faithfully continue. What is now marked by loss will become a place where lives, hope, and dignity are restored... What was once broken will become a place where lives are restored, hope is renewed, and people are given the dignity of a safe place to begin again.

From Ashes to Restoration: Completing a Space of Healing

At Fire Remedy Mission, we believe that spaces carry stories—and that those stories can be redeemed. One of our on-site buildings, known as the barnhouse, was in the process of being thoughtfully prepared to become a place of recovery and restoration.

A dear friend of our mission had taken on that work with care and intention. Tragically, he passed away before the project could be completed. Since that loss, the barnhouse has remained in a state of pause.

While structurally sound, the unfinished nature of the space has been emotionally difficult for those of us who serve here. Seeing it each day—unchanged since his passing—has made it harder to move forward and has served as a reminder of grief rather than the hope it was always meant to represent.

This space also holds memories that our children and volunteers carry with them. Finishing it is an act of care—for them and for all who come seeking healing. We believe in being present, in loving people where they are, and in walking together through every step of recovery.

We are raising funds to complete the work that was started and transform the barnhouse into a finished, peaceful, and dignified recovery space. This renovation is not about erasing the past—it is about honoring it by choosing restoration and forward movement.

With your support, we will:
Install durable epoxy flooring
Insulate the building for year-round comfort
Complete drywall and interior finishes
Replace the roof to ensure long-term protection
Install windows and doors to bring in the light.
Complete necessary electrical and safety updates
Our goal is to create a space that no longer feels paused, but instead offers peace, stability, and hope to everyone who enters.
Every contribution helps us turn an unfinished chapter into a place of healing and renewed purpose.
Thank you for standing with Fire Remedy Mission as we continue choosing presence, love, and restoration.
