Hannah is a beautiful, vibrant young woman whose strength and spirit have shone brightly through a lifelong battle with lupus. Diagnosed as a child, she faced a terrifying health crisis just as she was entering high school. Yet, like the true warrior she is, Hannah rose above it all—excelling as a star student, graduating with honors, and even earning her associate's degree from Middle Georgia State College along the way.
Her dreams were within reach as she prepared to begin her college journey at Kennesaw State University. But life had another challenge in store: a virus struck, exploiting her compromised immune system from lupus, leading to acute meningitis—not once, but twice. These devastating infections triggered a fierce fight against autoimmune encephalitis, pulling her into yet another grueling battle for her health.
All of Hannah's specialized treatments and frequent hospital stays require travel to Atlanta, a demanding hour-and-a-half drive from her family's home. Through it all, she remains an inspiring beacon of hope and joy to everyone who knows and loves her, touching lives with her unwavering positivity and resilience.
With the heartfelt support of her community and through dedicated fundraising efforts, we have the chance to help Hannah continue shining her extraordinary light on the world. Her family urgently needs $35,000 to fund a critical treatment that could be life-changing—and potentially life-saving—for this remarkable young woman.
