Keep our Yiddish Newsline Running

We run a newsline in Yiddish to provide information about our work, updates on legal action pertaining to yeshiva education, interviews with advocates for a sound, basic education in all Hasidic yeshivas, and the opportunity to leave anonymous messages. Keeping the newsline available to callers 24/7/365, and working to produce new content costs YAFFED about $1,000 every year. A donation of $42 helps keep our newsline running for 2 weeks!

Help Sponsor A Trip To The New York State Capitol

This year, we plan to bring yeshiva parents and alumni to Albany to meet with legislators and share their firsthand experiences of yeshiva education, demonstrating the urgent need for oversight to ensure each yeshiva delivers a sound, basic education. With your help, we can increase the effectiveness of our advocacy in 2025 by growing our presence in the halls of legislature. Organizing and arranging the logistics for a group trip of 10 people costs YAFFED $2,000, or $200 per person.

Spread The Word On Educational Rights

YAFFED engages those most impacted by educational neglect in Hasidic and Haredi yeshivas with informational mailers in Yiddish. By increasing our engagement with members of Hasidic communities, we can disseminate information to thousands of people at a time that yeshivas and community leaders may not be willing to be transparent about, while increasing awareness of each New Yorker's right to a sound, basic education. Each mailer costs YAFFED $1. A donation of $1,000 helps us reach 1,000 people!
