The Lafferty Family
A devastating house fire on December 9 left the Lafferty family without a home or belongings. With the holidays here, we’re asking our community to help bring hope, support, and holiday cheer.
About The Lafferty Family
On December 9, the Lafferty family’s lives were turned upside down when a sudden house fire destroyed their home just weeks after they moved to the Maynard community. In a matter of minutes, the fire and resulting water damage left the family with nothing including no clothing, furniture, household items, school supplies, or the Christmas gifts they had carefully saved for and purchased for their children. Thankfully, everyone made it out of the home safely, but the loss is overwhelming.
Ryan and his wife are raising five children, including a newborn, and are now facing the daunting task of rebuilding their lives from the ground up during the holiday season. Despite enduring so much, the Laffertys have remained deeply committed to their community, often volunteering, helping neighbors, and showing up for others whenever they could.
As the holidays approach, the family is starting over with only the clothes they escaped in. Your support can help provide essential needs, restore a sense of stability, and bring some warmth and hope to a family navigating an incredibly difficult moment.
Please consider donating to help the Lafferty Family and The Greg Hill Foundation will match donations up to $5,000 this holiday season.
