Help us dream big(ger) in 2026
Next year's momentum starts now.
It's the most impactful time of year
Your tax-deductible gift this month will empower our nonprofit to provide free inclusive, creative, strategic, and highly effective
musical training for every kind of educator.
GITC inspires, equips, and supports teachers and specialists
to infuse academic and social emotional learning
with the joy of making music and the power of song each day.
Since 2000, over 20,000 educators have taken our free
sequential, ongoing classes to bring singing, guitar, ukulele, and collaborative student songwriting to their students
as a regular part of cross-curricular learning
both during the school day, and after school.
Through participating teachers, this work reaches all learners
including students in special day programs, unhoused youth, and medically homebound and hospitalized children.
Over 1,000,000 students receive free musical access each year.
Your donation can help GITC reach out
"from sea to shining sea"
with this gift of a lifetime that instills hope, improves learning,
and creates creative and caring classroom communities.

"GITC is a brilliant program. They have a 'big picture' approach; they train educators to lead music with songs for learning in their own classrooms, and once successful, these people go on to train others. With this approach, there is exponential growth that doesn't cost too much. The instruments are either donated or deeply discounted, and GITC's open-tuning method makes it easy fo beginners of all ages to learn, and to teach. Everyone can do it. The program is proven, far-reaching, and it naturally sustains itself."
