Holiday Cheer for the New Year

December is a time for celebrating many festive holidays. As we enter the deepest part of winter (which may mean 80-degree temperatures here in Southern California!), we cherish memories and traditions of the past while looking forward to the future of the approaching new year.

One great tradition is sharing gifts with others. We love sharing the gift of music and dance with the community through our performances, sharing the gift of making art together with the talented artists on our team, and sharing the spirit of the holidays through meaningful Yuletide performances.

As we're making our New Year's resolutions this December, we're making great plans for more ways we can bring our art to people who wouldn't see it otherwise. We can't do it without your help.

Before the year ends, will you consider a donation to Cinballera Entertainment? With so many worthy charities in need of support, it's hard to choose where to contribute your hard-earned funds.

As a performing arts company, our work isn't as obviously lifesaving as medical research, foodbanks, or homeless initiatives. However, we believe that there's more to living than basic survival.

We believe that a moment of beauty, joy, and inspiration from music, movement, and art can feed your soul in immeasurable ways. However, you shouldn't have to choose between feeding your soul and feeding your family....

Keeping the arts affordable

The prices of everything just keep going up these days, and live entertainment is no exception. As tickets to the opera and ballet get more and more expensive, it's growing harder for many people to afford the life-giving experience of attending live theater.

At Cinballera, part of our mission is to bring high quality entertainment to the community for affordable prices. Whether large families, students, lower-income households, senior citizens, or otherwise economically challenged individuals, we want everyone to have a seat at our shows.

We are committed to keeping our General Admission pricing at $35 per person or less, as well as donating tickets to deserving individuals, like seniors, students, and veterans.

During Cinballera's two-and-a-half years of existence, we've put on almost 20 productions, started a monthly opera night, and employed dozens of singers, dancers, and instrumentalists.

Although we've received a few very generous donations from benevolent supporters during our less than two years as a non-profit organization, at least 75% of the company's funding has come from our own pockets. Theater rentals, rehearsal space, costumes, props, sets, insurance, and artist salaries have added up to almost $200,000 in two-and-a-half years.

We have grand plans for taking Cinballera Entertainment to the next level in 2026, with larger venues, bigger casts, and full orchestras. However, we can't do it alone, especially while keeping our tickets reasonable.

We need your help to remain a thriving haven for artists to bring unique, inspiring works to the community at affordable prices in 2026 and beyond!
