This year, more animals have come to us for help than have in almost a decade. Our intake is expected to surpass 20,000 dogs, cats, and critters, many in terrible condition, but thanks to the generosity of compassionate people like you, nearly 87% of those animals who once had nowhere to go are now safe and loved.

Incorporated in 2012 as a non-profit organization, ACCT Philly is the only open-intake animal shelter and animal care and control provider in Philadelphia, serving the City of Philadelphia by contract. From dogs and cats to small animals, reptiles, birds, and wildlife, ACCT Philly helps as many as 18,000 animals each year through its field services division and at its animal shelter facility in North Philadelphia.
