George N. Gafford
Moot Court Dedication Program

Where Legacy Takes Shape
For more than a century, California Western School of Law has shaped San Diego’s legal community, producing practice-ready lawyers equipped with the knowledge and confidence to excel in their careers. Built in the 1970s, the George N. Gafford Moot Court Room stands as a cornerstone of experience where countless students sharpened their skills, built lifelong connections, and found their voice as emerging legal professionals. For many alumni, it remains one of the most formative spaces of their time at California Western.
The Moot Court Room has been the heart of experiential learning at California Western. Through the Gafford Dedication Program, alumni and friends can personalize plaques to honor mentors, classmates, or loved ones. Each dedication creates a visible legacy while directly supporting the Annual Fund, ensuring students have the resources, mentorship, and opportunities they need to develop the knowledge, skill, and confidence to practice the law in San Diego and beyond.
