Bellwether Housing
Bellwether Housing creates stable communities and access to opportunity through affordable housing. We develop and manage homes for people with limited incomes near job centers, transit, and services. We amplify our impact by helping other organizations in the Puget Sound region do the same.
Taryn is known as “The Village” at Stone Way Apartments, a name she earned after more than 18 years of nurturing connection and care in her building. Her story shows how stable housing empowers people to support their neighbors in ways that extend far beyond their own front doors.
Ruth and her son Noah spent years without reliable housing before finding a home at Bellwether. With a safe and affordable place to live, Ruth is now working toward her dream of homeownership and building a secure future for them both.
