Carrie Stone Freeman founded NMS with a belief that music brings us together in harmony & communities deserve affordable, excellent, & meaningful opportunities to learn & grow through music. With a $1000 gift in 1914, she launched the Neighborhood Music Settlement. In 2025, we have a $20,000 matching grant from the Mawardi Fund! Gifts of every size get us closer to unlocking this grant! Join us at Mariachi Plaza on 11/1 to celebrate Dia de Muertos and honor 111 years of NMS with our community!
