Why Your Support Matters

Youth Run NOLA is celebrating our Sweet 16! For the last 15 seasons, we’ve created joyful spaces where youth can run, grow, and lead -- always free of charge. But while families never pay to participate, it takes real resources to make this possible: shoes, uniforms, healthy snacks, transportation, race entries, practice supplies, mentorship and more.

Your gift ensures that 1,400+ young people each year have barrier-free access to the joy of movement, the power of mentorship, and a community that believes in their potential. And the need is urgent: Louisiana ranks 49th in child well-being and public health, and too many young people lack safe spaces for movement, mentorship, and belonging. Running has historically excluded low-income youth and communities of color, but together, we are rewriting that story!
