In December 2024, Nikki Lamberti, Owner and Winemaker of Sollevato Wines was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer after having what she thought was a routine mammogram.
Throughout surgery, 16 rounds of chemotherapy, and 20 rounds of radiation, Nikki continued working and making wine. Today, she is thriving post-cancer, thanks to game-changing cancer research and modern medicine. However, while she was in the middle of treatments, Nikki’s dad, Dominick, was diagnosed with stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer and passed away in August.
Cancer has significantly impacted Nikki's family. However, Nikki has chosen to respond by partnering with the V Foundation for Cancer Research to accelerate Victory Over Cancer®!
Sollevato, a passion-driven boutique wine brand led by Nikki and her partner Michael, is based in Sonoma County, California, and tops out at around a 200-case production. Their gold-medal winning flagship Sangiovese from Dry Creek Valley has been in production since 2019 and this October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, they are releasing their first ever bottling of Grenache, with a limited 886 bottles hand-numbered and waxed by Nikki herself.
