Surf Noir

Surf Noir is a cultural studio and world-building engine that uses storytelling through music, film, and emerging technology to create immersive creative ecosystems.
What began as an artist’s vision for blending albums, narrative series, and interactive tools has grown into a framework for how independent creators can build sustainable practices and expansive worlds around their ideas.
As an organization, Surf Noir is committed to building pathways that other artists can adopt and adapt; whether that means developing infrastructure for interactive storytelling, producing educational materials that demystify technology in creative practice, or hosting collaborative residencies that invite artists into our world.
Our goal is to model a new way of working: one where technology doesn’t replace artistry but expands it, and where community is built not just through consumption but through participation.
Donations through Allied Arts will allow us to scale this mission: completing Surf Noir Season 1 as a case study, expanding our educational resources, and creating opportunities for other artists to experiment inside and alongside our world.
