OUR MISSION: At Freeland, the cost to continue our frontline fight to stop wildlife trafficking and end human slavery is extensive. Each month we find new ways to train rangers, track poachers, we help villagers build their careers to make them less susceptible to traffickers, and we rescue victims from human trafficking syndicates, to list a few. We need your help to sustain these operations and continue our efforts.

Protect the Protectors - Sponsor A Ranger

Wildlife Rangers are getting injured, some dying, while confronting well-armed poaching gangs and natural viruses during their daily patrols to protect tigers, elephants, and other critically endangered species. These rangers, aged 18-60, come from local villages, which appreciate the protection that the rangers afford them too from the gangs. They work long days and nights, earning only $100-$250/month. They have no life insurance, too often leaving widows and unfed children.

Stop Exotic Pet Trade

Huge trade is emerging in and out of India. Mainly live exotics. Freeland is helping an Indian task force link with Thailand, Malaysia, UAE and Africa to stop this. We're convening them in late October of 2025, and want to keep that momentum going.

Elephant poaching and ivory trafficking. Freeland is training and supporting task forces at the frontline in Asia and Africa to find and freeze the financial triggers.

Stop Human Trafficking

Criminal rings doing wildlife trafficking are often trafficking people too, so we're building out task forces to include this. We are developing a new training program to equip task forces to handle all cross-border trafficking. It also helps the wildlife protection teams get a LOT more respect and support by being eyes and ears for all trafficking.
