Ageism is real

Ageism Awareness Day for 2025 is on Thursday, October 9th. This day is an opportunity to raise awareness about ageism, challenge stereotypes, and advocate for age-inclusive policies to create a society where older adults are valued for their contributions.

Why it matters: Ageism can negatively affect health and even shorten lifespan.

It deprives society of the valuable wisdom and potential that older individuals offer.

Most of all, challenging age bias helps build stronger intergenerational relationships and inclusive communities.
