The Fight To Defend Downtown Petaluma Has A Price Tag!

Here's what Petaluma Historic Advocates has achieved after two years of relentless advocacy:
✅ Drove a year-long delay by demanding an EIR
✅ Got the City to drop Overlay Areas B&C
✅ Qualified for a ballot referendum with 6,884 signatures
✅ Forced the EKN Hotel project on hold until YOU get to vote

The Reality:
Every delay we've created, every legal challenge we've mounted, every signature we've gathered - it all required serious legal firepower.
PHA has racked up $123,181 in attorney fees fighting City Hall. We have already paid $66,500 With generous community donations.
But we still need community help to pay off the remaining $56,681 so we can move forward.

What Happens Next:
Pay off the legal bills now, win the real fight at the ballot box in 2026. Once we clear this debt, Petaluma Historic Advocates can focus 100% on:
• Winning the 2026 ballot measure
• Initiating a speaker series on the value of Petaluma’s Historic downtown
• Building a preservation movement to last beyond one project
