
About the Foster Youth Scholarship Program
On September 16, 2024, Fostering Success Act, Inc. announced a partnership with the University System of Georgia Foundation to raise funds for youth who have aged out of the state’s foster care system to attend one of Georgia’s 26 public colleges and universities by providing scholarships to fund tuition balances, campus housing and campus meal plans.
Former foster youth also need assistance with other expenses allowing them to focus on their education. You can help cover expenses for transportation, food, medical, counseling, mentoring and personal necessities.
Gifts of $25K or more may be matched dollar for dollar by USG Foundation.
Georgia tax filers can apply to receive 100 percent tax credit for donations made to qualified foster support organizations.
