Who donates to the Annual Fund?
Donors to the Annual Fund include the Board of Trustees, faculty, staff, parents, grandparents, alumni, alumni families, corporations, foundations, and friends of EB.
Do donations support particular school programs?
Generally, no. Gifts to the Annual Fund provide a portion of the school's annual operating revenues and are unrestricted. This allows our Board of Trustees to identify and prioritize expenditures in a systematic and thoughtful manner, taking into account all of the school's needs. As such, each gift to the Annual Fund can be said to benefit every student and every school program. However, if you wish to specify an area of support for your gift, you can do so by assigning a specific designation.
Do other schools have Annual Fund campaigns?
Yes, they do. As with nearly all independent schools, tuition does not cover the full cost of an EB education. Asking for donations is common practice to allow families to give at levels that best suit their financial situation and provide a tax benefit. The Annual Fund provides crucial funds for the operating year in which the funds are given.
Can I donate stock?
