 Help Us Bring

Malapert Love

To NYC!

First presented by Chicago's Artistic Home, Malapert Love was described by Chicago OnStage as "the funniest show of the year."

A queer love story inspired by Shakespeare's comedies from 21-year old playwright Siah Berlatsky, Malapert Love played to sold-out crowds at the Den Theater in the fall of 2022 and won Best New Work at the 2023 Jeff Awards. This spring, it was selected by The Tank, New York City's legendary home for emerging artists, as one of their Core Productions.

The Artistic Home is producing the show with the original director, Julian Hester. The Chicago cast have all signed on. And the show is scheduled to open in October just a few blocks south of Broadway.
