About LYRIC

For 37 years, LYRIC has been a lifeline for queer and trans youth in San Francisco, empowering them with access to life-saving health resources, housing support, stipends that provide a safety net as they chase their dreams, and identity-affirming programs and more where they can shed their guards and show up as their most authentic, brilliant selves.

Just last year, we engaged nearly 2,000 Bay Area youth through a range of life-affirming programs and services, including in-school and after-school community groups, independent living and health services, and more. Our vision is a world where LGBTQQ+ youth are not only accepted but celebrated for who they are, and inspired to become who they dream of being.

Together, we can build a future that honors, respects, and deeply values the power and potential of LGBTQQ+ youth and their contributions to our world.
