Standing Strong with Lt. Donny Bossi: A Call to Support His Family
Donny Bossi, a 34-year veteran of law enforcement who was severely injured in the line of duty this past Monday. Struck by a stolen motorcycle, Donny was thrown 45 feet, sustaining a 360° pelvic break, facial injuries, and head lacerations. He's already undergone one surgery and faces more this week, with a long road ahead of at least three months where he won't be able to put any weight on his feet. While he's thankfully in stable condition, the impact on Donny and his beloved family is immense.
For three decades, Donny has dedicated his life to serving and protecting our community, a commitment he shares with his wife, Sue, of 30 years, and their three children. Donny's unwavering dedication to others has always shone through, and now, it's our turn to stand with him and his family.
The path to recovery will be challenging, not just for Donny physically, but for his entire family as they navigate the months ahead. To support his healing and ensure his comfort at home, there's an urgent need for crucial home modifications and adaptive equipment. These aren't luxuries; they're necessities that will allow Donny to regain his independence and ease the burden on his family during this difficult time.
Every contribution, will make a tangible difference in the lives of the Bossi family, providing them with the resources they need to focus on Donny's recovery. Together, we can show our immense gratitude and help lift up Donny, Sue, and their children as they face this journey.
The Greg Hill Foundation will be matching all donations up to $5,000. Please consider making a donation to support the Bossi Family in their time of need.
