Juliette Gordon  Low Society

Juliette Gordon Low founded Girl Scouts in 1912 in her hometown of Savannah, Georgia, starting with just 18 girls who shared a sense of adventure and a belief that they could do anything.

Her leadership was matched by her generosity. Juliette transformed the carriage house of her home into the first national headquarters and left the property to Girl Scouts in her will.

That gift marked the beginning of planned giving to Girl Scouts. In her honor, the Juliette Gordon Low Society was created to thank and recognize those who make Girl Scouts part of their legacy through estate plans or other planned gifts, ensuring her vision continues for generations to come.

Leave a legacy. Inspire hers.

Carry on her legacy and make Girl Scouts of Gateway Council a beneficiary of your estate plans when you become a member of the Juliette Gordon Low Society.

When you include the Girl Scouts in your estate plan, your generosity provides a place for girls to practice the skills she’ll need to lead in every sphere in life.

It helps girls prepare themselves to become the leaders of tomorrow, to see that their potential is unlimited and to pursue their dreams.
