After six years of preparation, I'm tackling the English Channel-a 21-mile swim and the final leg of the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming, a feat achieved by fewer than 400 people worldwide.
I’m dedicating this swim to Asphalt Green’s AGUA (Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics) scholarships and inclusive swim programming for neurodivergent kids. 100% of the proceeds will go directly toward supporting these efforts. I am a huge believer in AG's mission and the power of sport to unite communities and develop future leaders, both in and out of the pool. I have been swimming at AG since the Olympic pool opened in 1993, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without the incredible coaches, the pool, and the supportive community. Asphalt Green has truly made all the difference.
I've completed two of the three swims in the Triple Crown: the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim in 2021 and the Catalina Channel swim in 2023. Now, it's time for the final stretch.

In addition, AGUA runs free and low-cost aquatics programming as part of Asphalt Green’s Safe Swim NYC initiative to expand access to swim instruction. Notable examples include the Waterproofing program that has taught thousands of second-grade students to swim, and Wave Makers initiative that now offers free swim instruction throughout NYC. All AGUA programs adhere to the same standards of excellence and aim to inspire a lifelong passion for swimming.
