Help Kids Facing a Parent’s Cancer Feel Less Alone
The Holt Brothers Foundation supports children who have a parent or primary caregiver with cancer, helping them build knowledge and emotional resilience during difficult times. Through mentoring, peer connection, and educational resources, we strive to ensure no child feels alone in their journey. Join us in making a lasting impact on their lives.
WHAT WE DO
Funding is used to give life to programs like KidsCAN! where our hospital partners provide educational tools and peer empathy support to children who have a parent or primary caregiver facing cancer.
Our brand new Kickoff to Courage initiative provides a free copy of one of our favorite resources: A Kids Book About Cancer, to any family in the US who requests one, as well as copies provided by our hospital partners.
Our KidsCAN! Alumni Scholarship Program, started in 2018, is available to any alumni of one of our hospital sponsored KidsCAN! programs.
We also support Camp Kesem, a summer camp that we are able to offer free of charge to children who have a parent or primary caregiver with a cancer diagnosis, allowing them to create a community among each other.
