BETTER HEALTH
From The Ground Up
We see a world where the preventable is prevented and the pathway to prosperity is open to everyone
More than 600 million children live without access to shoes. They are susceptible to dangerous pathogens, worms, and insects that enter the body through bare feet causing pain, disease, and disability.
Join the World Shoe Fund as we prevent the preventable for children across Africa with the gift of a pair of shoes.
Become a part of a movement of governments, global health agencies, nonprofits, and churches walking alongside each other to make the world a healthier place for all.
About World Shoe Fund
The World Shoe Fund is developing collaborative partnerships to raise awareness, advocating for shoe-wearing, promoting hygiene, investing in economic empowerment for African women and youth, and securing the funding necessary to distribute World Shoes along with other essential health services to the 1.5 Billion people worldwide affected by insufficient access to life-saving protective and preventive footwear.
Better Health Innovation
(it just looks like a shoe)

The World Shoe is the first shoe of its kind, specifically designed to promote health and hygiene by fighting disease in some of the most impoverished areas of the world. Proper footwear can protect against up to 80% of the most prevalent Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs), which currently affect 1.5 Billion people worldwide.
Our EVA foam shoes are lightweight, with shock-absorbing technology that helps prevent soft tissue injuries. In areas suffering from poverty or disaster conditions, these shoes also protect feet from puncture wounds, bites, and injuries that can lead to permanent disability. Each pair of World Shoes is infused with a powerful organic antimicrobial that promotes foot hygiene and healing.
The World Shoe is also manufactured locally in Ghana, West Africa, providing jobs and economic empowerment to communities that need it the most.
