Our founder, Rob Scheer, knows firsthand what it feels like to enter foster care with nothing. As a child, he was handed a trash bag to carry his few belongings - an experience that left a lasting scar. Decades later, when Rob and his husband adopted their children from foster care, he saw that nothing had changed.
