Blind Fencing
Since 1954, The Carroll Center for the Blind has taught fencing to individuals who are blind or visually impaired - helping participants build critical skills like balance, orientation, mobility, and navigation.
Now, we’re taking Blind Fencing to the world stage.
A Groundbreaking Event
In partnership with the International Fencing Club, we’re hosting the first-ever International Blind Fencing Competition in Boston, August 16-19, 2025. This event will unite blind and low vision fencers from around the globe, elevating Blind Fencing and building momentum for its inclusion as a Paralympic sport.
Make a Difference
To ensure all qualified athletes can participate - regardless of financial circumstances - we’re seeking $15,000 in private donations to defray athlete expenses, including fencing gear, housing, transportation, meals, and referees.
Double Your Impact
Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000 - make a gift today and be part of this historic moment!
