About the LA28 Kayak Program
Hello, I'm Krisztina Zur, and I'm dedicated to coaching the talented young athletes of the LA28 Kayak Program at Newport Aquatic Center (NAC). NAC provides a world-class training environment, and I'm committed to guiding these athletes as they strive to represent the USA in sprint kayaking at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
My own journey as a two-time Olympic champion has instilled in me a deep understanding of the dedication, perseverance, and support required to succeed at the highest levels of this sport. I'm passionate about passing that knowledge on to these athletes.
A Crucial Opportunity
This year, our athletes have a vital opportunity to compete at the U23 World Championship in Portugal on July 23rd-27th and the Senior World Championship in Milan on August 20th-24th. These competitions, along with a crucial training camp in between, are essential for their development and represent a major step towards qualifying for the Olympics.
The Challenge We Face
Unfortunately, these talented athletes face a significant financial hurdle. The costs associated with traveling to and competing in these international events, and the associated training camp, are substantial. We are seeking your support to help make this dream a reality.
