Harbor House Young Professionals are hosting Cram the Van 2025, a community donation drive supporting the children living at Harbor House of Central Florida and attending Camp HOPE!

Between May and August, we typically care for 185 to 200 children in our emergency shelter. This drive helps us stock up on much-needed summer essentials—including clothing, toys, and nonperishable food items—to make sure every child has what they need to feel safe and supported during their stay.

Bring a donation, meet our amazing Young Professionals Board, and help us fill the van with hope.

What is the Harbor House Young Professional Board?
The Young Professionals Board (YPB) is an initiative by Harbor House of Central Florida, designed for individuals under 40 who are passionate about giving back to their community. This board offers young professionals the opportunity to engage in leadership, advocacy, and fundraising efforts to support survivors of domestic violence. Members of the YPB play a crucial role in promoting awareness and supporting the mission of Harbor House. For those interested in joining or learning more about the YPB, Harbor House encourages reaching out via email at YPB@harborhousefl.com. This is a valuable opportunity for young professionals to make a meaningful impact while developing their leadership skills.

A Camper's Story:

When 9-year-old Jayla arrived at Harbor House, she was quiet, anxious, and unsure of what the future would bring. Her mom had escaped a dangerous situation, and both were just beginning their journey to healing.

A year later, Jayla attended Camp HOPE—her first time away from her mom and siblings, first time swimming, and first time feeling like just a kid again. She laughed, made friends, learned how to build a fire, and proudly shared her artwork during talent night. Jayla came home more confident, resilient, and ready to take on a brighter future. Your donations make moments like that possible. Let’s fill the van for Jayla—and every child like her.
