Adaptive Surfing Activities
Support the Adaptive Surfing Association of Costa Rica to bring more joy in the waves for people with disabilities!!
We have been doing these activities since 2016, offering an inclusive and fun day to people with disabilities, their families, friends, volunteers and surf instructors.
We look for your support to cover expenses of:
- Transportation of staff and adapted equipment to different beaches
- Surf instructors
- Surfboards rental
- Snacks and hydration to all
- Shirts for the participants as a souvenir of the day
The freedom of People with Disabilities in the Ocean
People with disabilities face many barriers in their daily lives. We bring them freedom and joy in the waves, in a secure and adapted way. 🤩
🌊 The work of our adaptive surf instructors along with trained volunteers makes a huge positive impact on our participants. After an adaptive surf session, they feel empowered to face their lives in a more positive and enthusiastic way! And even some of them end up hooked with the adaptive surfing and keep it as their recreational and competitive sport! 🤙🏽
