Brooke's Place at CAC - Hope House
Children's Advocacy Center - Hope House has been a beacon of hope for children affected by abuse in our community. From 2017 to 2024, the number of children who walked through our doors for forensic interviews increased from 287 to 525. This surge in demand highlights both the alarming prevalence of child abuse and the vital role our center plays in supporting these young survivors. Currently, we face a pressing challenge: we have outgrown our existing space. This limitation hinders our ability to effectively meet the increasing needs of our community. To address this issue and expand our capacity, we are embarking on an ambitious initiative: Brooke’s Place at CAC - Hope House.
Brooke’s Place will be a purpose-built facility designed to grow and enhance our services significantly. This new center, built on land that we already own next to our existing headquarters in Downtown Covington, will feature a dedicated forensic interviewing and observation suite, therapy offices equipped to provide essential healing, a versatile training room to educate professionals and volunteers, and family advocacy spaces to support caregivers navigating challenging circumstances.

All funds raised, up to $130,000, will be matched dollar for dollar thanks to a $100,000 matching gift given in Jesus' name, and an additional $30,000 matching gift donated by a generous local supporter.
