Ignite Tomorrow: Empowering Teens Through Mentorship & Mental Health
A Thrive and Live Initiative
Meet Thrive and Live
Thrive and Live is a nonprofit organization devoted to providing youth with the mental health support they need to flourish. Our mission is to close the gaps in care for teens facing depression, anxiety, and social isolation—especially those in underserved communities. We believe every young person deserves guidance, hope, and the tools to navigate life’s challenges successfully.

Why Your Support Matters
Your contribution is the turning point for teens who feel alone and overwhelmed. By donating, you’re helping us fund critical mentorship sessions, peer support groups, and youth mental health workshops that transform lives. When teens know they aren’t struggling by themselves, they find the resilience and confidence to step into a brighter future.
The Problem: “Facing the Youth Mental Health Crisis”
- One in five teens experiences a serious mental health issue each year.
- Many teens suffer in silence, often lacking resources for professional help.
- Stigma and limited access make it even harder for marginalized youth to receive the care they deserve.
When mental health issues go untreated, teens can fall behind in school, face family conflict, and risk harmful coping behaviors. Without timely intervention, they may lose hope—and their potential to thrive.

Our Proposed Solution: “Peer Support, Mentorship & Beyond”
Thrive and Live is bridging the gap by providing:
1. One-on-One Mentorship Sessions
a. Weekly or biweekly sessions with trained mentors.
b. Guidance on self-esteem, emotional regulation, and goal- setting.
2. Peer Support Groups
a. Safe, structured environments for teens to share experiences and learn coping strategies from peers.
b. Facilitated by professionals and supported by youth leaders.
3. Youth Mental Health Workshops
a. Interactive workshops covering stress management, emotional wellness, and healthy communication.
b. Led by licensed mental health professionals and mentor teams.
4. Mental Health First Aid Training for Mentors
a. Equips mentors and group leaders with essential skills to recognize warning signs and intervene early.
b. Ensures culturally competent, teen-focused approaches that help at-risk youth.
The Impact: “Your Donation in Action”
Every dollar you give empowers teens to overcome life’s toughest challenges. Here’s the tangible difference your contribution makes:
- $50 provides a mentorship session for one teen.
- $250 funds a peer support group session for 10–12 teens.
- $1,500 offers Mental Health First Aid training to five mentors.
- $2,500 conduct a full-scale youth mental health workshop for 30+ teens.

Testimonial: “BM’s Story of Hope”
“Before I joined the mentorship program, I felt like nobody understood me. I used to get angry and didn’t know how to deal with it. One time, I lost control of the class and got into trouble. It felt like everything was against me. Now, I have a mentor who listens to me and helps me stay calm when I feel frustrated. We meet every day after school, and I’ve learned healthy ways to handle my emotions. I used to think I was alone, but now I have a real support system. My mentor believes in me, and I don’t have to blame myself for things I can’t change. I finally feel like I have people in my corner. I know I’m not alone anymore.”
— BM, 14-year-old Mentorship Program Participant
