About the Play

God and All Her Children follows two high school-aged boys– best friends, D and Gigi, as they spend the last days of summer on the porch of their elderly neighbor, whose infinite presence makes “God” the only fitting name for her. When Gigi receives a life changing offer that could give him the opportunity to finally break free from the confining walls of their neighborhood, tensions rise as D and Gigi find out where they can turn if they no longer have each other.

Why We're Here

After two successful staged readings (The Brick Exponential Festival and The Paradise Factory), we are producing the first fully staged production God and All Her Children at The Tank NYC this Spring (April 30th, May 3rd, 4th, and 6th)!

We are so excited to bring this project to the next level, and we're just as excited to bring our community along on this journey as we share the creative process and also put on exciting events leading up to opening night.

We are asking our community near and far to contribute to our campaign and help us raise $5000 in the next two months, which will directly go towards funding this production.

Two months isn’t a lot of time, but we have complete faith that we can reach our goal!

This play is an offering of connection and community through the power of theatre. This play was written with the intention of representing the underrepresented.

We welcome and encourage audiences from varying backgrounds to see our show! Our mission is to ensure those who are often unseen see themselves in this piece. Now is the time to amplify diverse voices more than ever. -- Black Stories Matter, Black Voices Matter, Black Art Matters.
