1 in 26 people will have a seizure in their lifetime. I am walking 26 miles in 26 days to raise awareness and funds for Epilepsy. Ending my journey on March 15th by joining the Epilepsy Foundation of America and walking my last mile on the National Mall in Washington DC with my Family.
Our Story
Henry had his first seizure just before his 5th birthday. For over 15 years he has had every type of seizure there is. He has been in a coma, rehab for 6 months learning how to walk and talk again and has had countless hospital stays. He is thriving for we have access to good doctors, and have the knowledge to find the best resources. Not everyone is so lucky. We founded Henry's Heroes to raise awareness and funding to educate the public about this still very misunderstood disease, and help others who may not have the resources that we do. We have funded Scholarships, seizure dogs, support programs, seizure protection devices , helped educate underdeveloped countries provide education and medicine. We help local and global!
