LA Family Housing is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, and your donation is tax deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. Please keep your receipt as your official record. We'll email it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
LA Family Housing has four properties on watch due to the northeast San Fernando Valley fires. Our emergency response needs fall into four critical areas and costs:
1. Evacuation efforts– transportation and lodging costs.
3. Food– meals for families living in interim housing sites, including motels, and residents living in Permanent Supportive Housing units.
4. Generators–keeping our buildings running, especially ones that have lost power.
5. Staffing– supporting overtime pay to cover staff who have personally been affected.
