On June 9, 2024, our world was forever changed by the loss of our beloved son. His tragic passing at Lake Corpus Christi has left a deep void in our hearts. In the wake of this heartache, we are committed to ensuring that no other family experiences the same pain. To prevent future tragedies, the Chris Ruiz Foundation is working alongside the Safe Waters Coalition in Mathis to make critical changes to water safety in our community. One of our main goals is to provide life jacket racks and life jackets for all visitors at the lake—an essential step in saving lives and offering peace of mind for families. But we need your help.
