It's Brain Injury Awareness Month
March is Brain Injury Awareness Month—a time for us to come together, raise awareness, and challenge the misconceptions surrounding this invisible injury.
Each year, 70-80 million incidents of brain injuries occur worldwide.
50% - 80% of individuals impacted by a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) suffer from depression, anxiety, or thoughts of self-harm.
This is a community that needs visibility and community support.
Lets #BreakTheStigma Together
Programs We Are Fundraising For
Happy Helmets - This our inaugural program addressing the significant demand for high-quality helmets. Happy Helmets has donated over 3,000 helmets. Now, with 100+ organizations seeking support, we’re transitioning to a sustainable model by donating our Save A Brain collaborative helmets. Each helmet costs us $40 and our goal for 2025 is to provide 500 helmets requiring a $30,000 budget.
The Brain Factory - We believe in making learning interactive to accommodate diverse learning styles. Brain Box, developed alongside The Brain Factory, is designed to engage and educate people on brain health and injuries, sparking curiosity through hands-on experiences. Brain Box Brain Box offers self-care and recovery tools for traumatic brain injury patients, supporting their healing journey. Our 2025 goal is to donate 200 boxes to individuals, providing comfort and encouragement as they adapt to their new normal.
The Head Quarters - A brain injury journey can feel so isolating. That’s why we created The Head Quarters, a podcast built on connection, storytelling, and community—the pieces often missing in the brain injury space. This is a safe, welcoming place where we can learn from medical professionals, share our experiences, and find support from others who truly understand. Together, we’re deepening our knowledge of the brain, resonating with each other’s stories, and offering encouragement as we navigate this invisible challenge side by side.
