Family Model of Care
Family Model of Care:
A Growing Need
For 70 years, Christ’s Haven For Children has provided care for displaced youth who have experienced abuse or neglect. While much has changed in 70 years, the organization has stayed true to providing a family model of care, believing that every child deserves typical childhood experiences and nurturing caretakers in a consistent home environment.
Seeing the need for an option outside of traditional foster care, Christ’s Haven has been able to serve a unique population of families who often don’t have available resources. The need continues to grow as we have seen a 55% increase in intake calls.
As a privately-funded organization, your support makes Christ's Haven's trauma-informed, family model of care possible. Your support provides Normalcy, Dignity, & Hope.
