We need your help to save our Washington Street studio
The past five years have been exponentially tough.....
Economic conditions have been difficult for us to navigate as a small nonprofit organization. Here is a snapshot of our new norm:
➔ Rent at our Washington Street studio has increased nearly 50% in the last 3 years
➔ The need for Financial Assistance within our School has increased 300%, now reaching nearly 200 students, with 75% of students on full tuition scholarship.
If we are not able to fill our 30% operating gap this year, our space our Washington Street studio is at risk, not only for our dance classes, but also for programs like Access for All, Movement Meets, Dance with Parkinson's and Artist Residencies, all of which bring the benefits of dance to those who may not have access otherwise.
Founder/Director, Betsi Graves, and then Board Chair, Anmol Mehra, celebrate the opening of our Washington Street studio in 2014
