Epicurean Scholarship Society
The Charlotte Epicurean Scholarship Society is a distinguished group of philanthropists making a difference in our students’ academic journeys. By becoming a member, society members enjoy a unique culinary experience curated by celebrated chefs, sommeliers and restaurateurs along with our very own students of the College of Food Innovation & Technology, while also giving back in support of JWU students in the form of scholarships spanning all colleges at Johnson & Wales University. Established in 2008, the society has awarded over $523,000 to deserving JWU students in Charlotte.
"The members of our Epicurean Society support JWU's highest priority—student success. Their commitment to the education of our students is incomparable and we appreciate their decision to ensure that our students can focus on achieving their dreams," - Mim L. Runey, LP.D., Chancellor of Johnson & Wales.

"I came to JWU because of the amazing community. I rely on scholarships to get through school. With your donation, I can focus more on my classes rather than worrying about how I’m going to pay for school." - Dakota French '22, Culinary Arts
