Fund Purpose

The primary purpose of this fund is to enhance the charitable contributions to Serene Strides through NVCF's website and services.

North Valley Community Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, and your donation is tax deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. Please keep your receipt as your official record. We'll email it to you upon successful completion of your donation.

More about our mission

Serene Strides provides social/emotional learning, seminars for students, wellness groups for community members, and teaches resiliency skills for participants of all ages through the inclusion of horses in experiential therapies and skill building activities. As social workers, college faculty, and horsewomen with decades of experience in the Butte County community as well as graduates from the University of Denver- Equine Assisted Mental Health Practitioner Certificate Program, we have the unique skills, relationships, and trauma-informed lens to make a real impact for those who engage in our programs.
