Fund Purpose

To help farmers plant, grow, process, fiber flax and natural dye plants to be marketed, employing regenerative agriculture practices. Encourage small-scale production methods, develop mechanized processes, and explore sustainable uses for flax creating a linen industry in California

North Valley Community Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, and your donation is tax deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. Please keep your receipt as your official record. We'll email it to you upon successful completion of your donation.

Golden State Linen is piloting regenerative production and processing systems for flax in our region, bringing a new industry and social enterprise to Northern California in collaboration with local community members, farmers, artisans and institutions.
