You can make a dramatic difference to the lives of women-headed households in Mpumalanga South Africa by supporting Project Biome's work with 10 Trees.

The 10 Trees project currently works with 153 women-led households in the village, supporting them in planting out and caring for 10 productive trees and medicinal plants in their gardens. This helps to provide food for their families, generate an income from the sale of tree products, and restore the degraded landscapes around them.

Every donation counts. To date, these women have planted out 1, 660 trees and 51 varietals of medicinal plants. They can already see the difference in the soils, in the availability of food and in the health of their families.
